Today the event "Forskarfredag" takes place at Campus Skellefteċ, attendees will have the opportunity to test the new Magicka alpha. Members of Arrowhead Game Studios will be present during the entire event and Johan will hold a presentation at 12:30, talking about the journey from a small student project to a commercial game. Hope we get to see you there.

The 17-18th of June, the event "Creative Summit" was hosted in Skellefteċ. Creative Summit's a VIP event for different companies working within the media and web industry. It focuses on creativity and innovation and shows, both local companies as well as international, that Skellefteċ has a lot to offer in terms of creativity when it comes to different media. Arrowhead Game Studios was present and got some attention as being the only game developer in the area.

Creative Summit is hosted once a year by The Lodge, which is an organisation that is run by a number of different media and web companies in Skellefteċ.

A big thanks goes out to the members of The Lodge for inviting Arrowhead Game Studios to the event.

Today Arrowhead Game Studios recieved a scholarship from Sammes Idéstiftelse, a foundation started by Samme and Maud Lindmark, its purpose is to promote the starting of new companies by students on Campus. The foundation pays out a scholarship to applicants with commercially viable products and business ideas. Arrowhead GS was granted the highest amount of 25 000 SEK (2300 EURO), a small but important amount.
